MORE PARIS… Here are a few more shots of Paris. If Ben and I had to move back to France, I could live in Paris.

Plus, I recently learned, my mom has a love affair with this city, which I never knew. My mom is excellent at keeping secrets! I hope she will meet me in Paris in March. Then we can retrace the steps of how her love began.

9.42 MILES

Our run out to the airport to meet my mom was a good one. I am almost ready for my half marathon in just four weeks time. I will have to stay dedicated to my training during my upcoming trips (Toronto and India). Plus at 35, I accept this physical challenge.

                                                              (Ben is fast)

(Ben is fast, fast as an airplane)

                                                     (Slow and steady at 35)

                                                           (The RBS Bridge)

(See, we did run to the airport)

MATTEBOX

After my two favourite tech geeks gave me the same suggestion, I splurged ($3.99), on a new photo app for my iPhone. It is called Mattebox. Personally I do not find it as easy to use as Instagram or Hipstamatic, with their easy to tap pre-sets, but both Ben and Dave have told me to watch the instructional video, which I have, but will again.

Here are some of my first attempts.

                                                        (Self Portrait)

                                                        (Our living Room)

                                                                  (Ben)

(Viaduct at the Water of Leith)

(Icy stairs from my last 9-mile run)

(Bean Boots, just waiting for the snow)

The app was designed by a Ben Syverson, who has an impressive flickr photostream, it shows the potential of the app. I promise to work on my Mattebox skills.
